Be Empowered: Service Professionals & Customers

Use A Pro’s founder Wendy Twine under the umbrella of Lighthouse Contracting & Consulting, Inc., created this community and marketplace for both service professionals and customers.

As a home service professional herself, she had the vision to help empower and equip service professionals to share not just their how-tos but also their insider secrets; such as, be wares, best practices, and their industry’s rules and regulations. 

Wendy also is a customer too and wanted to be empowered on what to look for in industry service professionals.

Therefore, she and others would less likely be scammed by a service professional who lacked character, competence, and confidence, in their business practices and projects.

Be Considerate: Ratings, Reviews, and Rants

Use A Pro created the opportunity for professionals to receive their own ratings and reviews about their services and projects they have performed in the following ways: character, competence, confidence, costs, and overall care. 

Use A Pro’s customers will be able to share in the professional’s comments if they treated them or their assets (i.e. home, auto, pets, etc.) with great or little care (i.e. the way they were conscious of cleaning up after their repairs or taking time for the needs of additional family members concerns).

Be Honest: In Your Reporting

Use A Pro relies on customers to report with honesty, integrity, and courtesy about their experience with the professional. This way it helps the professional know-how to improve and help aid in making a wrong right.

If we find a review is written with hateful speech or a company writing their own reviews, it will be deleted.

Professionals can respond to their review as well since there are two sides to every story; to help others in the information they need for a future hiring decision.
